Nearly £3 Million for Fylde’s Roads – And We’re Just Getting Started

We can now confirm that nearly £3 million is being invested into roads across Fylde.

This is what happens when you elect Reform.

In less than a year, Cllr Roberts and Cllr Dwyer have been pushing hard to ensure Fylde receives its fair share of highways funding — and that work is now being delivered.

We have not seen this level of targeted investment in Fylde’s roads in recent years.

Roads being repaired and resurfaced include:

  • Lytham Road (A584)
  • Preston New Road (A583)
  • Links Gate (St Annes)
  • Garstang Road (A586)
  • Fleetwood Road (A585)
  • Clifton Drive South (A584)
  • St Annes Road West (B5233)
  • Grange Road (Fylde West)
  • Chain Lane (Mythop area)
  • Meagles Lane / Meagles Road

This investment does not stop here.

If you notice potholes or road defects, please report them using Lancashire County Council’s online system:
https://www.lancashire.gov.uk/roads-parking-and-travel/report-it/report-it-on-the-go/

The more reports submitted, the more defects are identified and scheduled for repair.

We will continue pushing for sustained investment to ensure Fylde’s roads receive the attention they deserve.
