I am proud to serve on Lancashire County Council as the Armed Forces and Veterans Champion. I represent Morecambe Central, and my aim is to support and represent local residents to the best of my ability.
I come from a working-class background and became involved in local politics out of frustration with the current government’s approach, particularly regarding its handling of immigration and public spending. I felt that a practical, common-sense approach to governance was needed — one that better represents the working class. This led me to join the Reform Party, whose policies align with my right-of-centre values.
I am a former Royal Marine and have worked as a lecturer in Further Education, with experience across various public service and charitable organisations.
As the Armed Forces and Veterans Champion, I have enjoyed touring the county, meeting veteran support groups, and promoting a collaborative approach to supporting our veterans’ community — a group I feel has been neglected for decades. I actively promote the Armed Forces Covenant and support initiatives such as the Valour scheme.
