I was elected as the County Councillor for Clitheroe in 2025 and currently serve as Cabinet Member for Highways and Transport at Lancashire County Council.
Before entering local government, I gained valuable experience in the automotive industry, including working as a regional manager for the AA, where I oversaw large teams and supported the development of other managers. I have also worked in a special educational needs school, which strengthened my commitment to serving our communities.
In my cabinet role, I lead the council’s work on maintaining and improving Lancashire’s highways and transport network. This includes ensuring our roads, bridges, and footways are safe and reliable, supporting smart, high-quality repairs and enhancements, and developing transport solutions that benefit residents and local businesses. Under this administration, we’ve focused on innovation, accountability, and delivering visible improvements across the county.
I am passionate about delivering practical results that improve people’s everyday lives — from safer roads and reduced potholes to better-coordinated transport services. I remain committed to listening to local people and making Lancashire a better place to live, work, and travel.
