I am honoured to serve as your County Councillor for Cleveleys South and Carleton, proudly representing Reform UK. After retiring from my role as an Emergency Department Sister, my husband Ian and I chose to make Thornton-Cleveleys our home, drawn by its strong sense of community. Now retired, I have the time and commitment to give back and help make our area a great place to live for everyone.
I became involved in local politics to make a difference and be a voice for residents — especially those who feel ignored. I am committed to challenging how our money is spent, cutting down on waste, and speaking up for residents every time.
With an elderly demographic in Thornton, many of whom struggle to have their voices heard, I am proud to serve as Champion for Older People — a role I take very seriously. Local services, from potholes and weeds to graffiti and public transport, are often broken. Whatever the issue, I will push Lancashire County Council to provide solutions and improve services. No excuses.
