Help Us Defend the Right to Vote in Lancashire and Campaign for Real Change

Local elections give people the right to choose who represents them and how their communities are run. That right should never be delayed or taken away.

Across Lancashire, some political leaders are pushing to cancel or postpone the May 2026 elections because of council reorganisation plans. Reform UK believes this is wrong. Elections should go ahead on time, and voters should always have the final say.

Residents across the county value local representation and oppose changes that weaken community voices or reduce democratic accountability.

The stakes are high. We cannot allow voters anywhere in Lancashire to be denied their say at the ballot box. That is why Reform UK is calling for volunteers to help deliver a grassroots campaign that champions democracy, engages voters, and shows communities what is at stake.

We need people who are ready to:

  • Deliver campaign materials across towns and villages.
  • Talk with local residents about the important issues facing their communities.
  • Support candidates by organising and staffing events where voters can meet them.
  • Help on polling day to ensure everyone knows when and where to vote.

You do not need any previous experience. What matters most is that you care about democracy and want to make a difference in your community.

Local elections are less than five months away. If democracy matters to you, now is the time to act. Join us in this effort to stand up for every voter in Lancashire and make sure local voices are heard in May 2026.
